The Challenge
The backend workflow for processing discounted purchases and invoicing was manual, cumbersome, and time-consuming. The offer details needed to be manually mapped between the internal CRM and the accounting system, Exact Online, resulting in delayed invoicing and impacting timely cash inflow.
The Solution
Kaapisoft leveraged See3D’s existing Office 365 subscription to develop automation and integration solutions using minimal custom code. The solution used Power Automate and SharePoint to integrate their ecommerce system (CRM) with their accounting system (Exact Online). A thin API was developed to receive
requests and save information in SharePoint. A Power Automate flow was triggered to perform logical checks (like VAT eligibility) and share the necessary data with Exact Online to automatically generate invoices and offers.
